Welcome to AgeUk Sunderland - Friday 3rd September 2010
Dear Friends

We have decided to become brand partners with AgeUk, the new force combining Age Concern and Help the Aged.

On Friday 4th June we changed our name to AgeUk Sunderland and this will be our new logo: AgeUk Sunderland will still be a strong, local and independent charity run by and for the people of Sunderland.

We will continue to support all older people throughout the city through the provision of quality services and by campaigning on issues that affect them.

We firmly believe the new brand and partnership with AgeUK will strengthen our work for older people and enable us to work together more effectively.

Throughout this year we are celebrating our Diamond Jubilee – 60 years of service to the older people of Sunderland and the new brand will ensure we remain relevant and engaged as the largest local charity for older people.

Thank you for any support you have given us in the past and I hope you will support AgeUk Sunderland as we go forward to a future where all older people are valued respected and have an excellent quality of life.

Our new website is still under construction and will be arriving shortly.
