Fuel poverty affects many older people in Sunderland. It can result in ill health and even death, simply because people cannot afford to heat their homes adequately. We at Age Concern want to tackle this by ensuring that people are not missing out on Benefits which are rightfully theirs and by informing them about Energy Efficiency Grants that are waiting to be claimed.
