As part of an ongoing government campaign to encourage people of all ages to make using the Internet an integral part of their daily lives, Age Concern Sunderland provides many courses and initiatives designed to help older people become more confident with computers and online services. Computers and the Internet don't have to be as intimidating as they can seem, and it's never too late to get to grips with technology.

Did you know, for example, that you can use the Internet to:

Get up and Go
Renew your TV License, passport, or driving license
Pay utility and council tax bills
   Make use of council services
Find out about tax, benefits and pensions
Have your say about local and national government policy
Do your shopping or book a holiday
Keep in touch with your friends and relatives, even overseas, for free?

At Age Concern Sunderland, we can we can help you gain the skills you need to become more confident online through a variety of activities, drop-in sessions and courses, enabling you to have your say and become more inviolved in the community.
